If you have made it here, you probably know about Jaxson’s story from TikTok or Facebook. He is 4 years post severe traumatic brain injury. He is 13 years old now, 5’3 tall, and 120+ lbs. Jaxson’s main need at this time is a handicap accessible bathroom. Right now, he has a standard bathroom with nothing accessible, and he has outgrown the majority of his equipment to help make the bathroom/shower easier. We are moving into adult-size needs, which means his bathroom needs to be opened up, and he needs a roll-in shower/roll-under sink. This is also extremely important for him to be independent, which the doctors have stressed is highly important for him as a teenager. He has some upcoming surgeries in the near future as well, and easier bathing will really help during that time. If you feel led to help Jaxson, this would be the best thing we can do for him at this point in his recovery.
